Fashion Show & Banquet
–Enjoy a wonderful evening of dining at HistoricCongress Hall, followed by a FASHION SHOW of the latest designs from Plymouth, Berroco, Knit One Crochet Two, and Debbie Bliss Yarn Companies. All yarns and patterns shown will be available to purchase during the Retreat Weekend.
–Special Guest VANESSA EWING. of Plymouth Yarn Co., will be with us to tell you all about the newest fashions and colors she has been designing.
–Play a game of Fashion Bingo with us. to win wonderful Door Prizes made available by our Sponsors.

7 PM Trolley Tour & Charity Knitting Event–Take a Haunted Trolley Tour, and knit for Charity with Knit Lites Knitting Needles. Our hats and caps will be donated to Caps For Good, to help save newborns in needy countries.

Cape May Day Spa–Treat your body to an uplifting, luxurious spa experience at the Cape May Day Spa on Sunday morning. Choose a mini facial or a soothing hand massage.

Bay Springs Alpaca Farm

–Visit with Barbara Nuessle and the Alpaca herd at Bay Springs Alpaca Farm. Bay Springs has crossed alpacas of Peruvian ancestry with Chileans to produce excellent fleece in a diverse array of colors. Their animals are all handled on a daily basis. Come and feed them a carrot or two! They are friendly and fun.

NEW FRIDAY CHARITY GROUP STARTED: Project Helmet Liner!!It has recently come to our attention that the 101st Airborne Unit needs over 900 Helmet Liners. The temperatures are already below freezing in parts of Afghanistan and our boys are freezing! Would you help us keep them warm by knitting Helmet Liners with our Friday Group from 1-3pm? Patterns will be provided to you free of charge, just purchase the wool recommended by the Red Cross at our shop, at a 10% discount. This group will be used to help other worthwhile charities as
well when we finish with the Helmet Liner Project.

Baby Surprise Sweater: Saturday’s 9 – 11 am starts October 23rd.
The baby surprise jacket is a very entertaining piece of knitted engineering. The jacket is knit in a single piece with just two seams that run across each of the shoulders and down the length of the sleeves. It includes extra ease across the back of the garment to fit well over a diaper. Pattern sized for child – adult.
